Build the Right Ski Setup

The best ski setup is not just about the skis. Boots, bindings, poles, goggles, helmets, clothing and even socks all affect comfort, control and how much fun you have on snow.

At Sun & Snow, our staff skis the gear we sell and helps customers choose equipment based on ability, terrain, fit, conditions and where they spend most of their winter.

Skis

Visibility and fit matter. Find goggles and helmets that work together comfortably and make sense for the conditions you ski.

Ski Clothing

Ski Gear for Michigan and the Midwest

Skiers in Michigan often need equipment that handles firm snow, frequent turns and changing conditions, while still being versatile enough for trips to Northern Michigan or out West.

That is why we do not treat every skier the same. Someone spending most of the winter carving local groomers may need a very different setup from someone who regularly travels to bigger mountains or skis more variable terrain.

Good gear should make skiing easier, not more complicated.
Our job is to help you sort through the choices and build a setup that makes sense for the skier you are today.

Start With Fit

A ski can be perfect on paper and still feel wrong if the boot does not fit properly. Our ski bootfitting team helps select, fit and customize boots so the rest of the equipment can do its job.

Need Help Choosing Ski Gear?

Visit Sun & Snow in Plymouth or Ann Arbor. We've been helping Michigan skiers choose, fit and maintain ski equipment since 1971. Whether you need a complete setup or just a better pair of socks, we'll help you find what actually makes sense.

Real skiers. Real help. Better gear.
That's what a specialty ski shop is supposed to do.
